We understand trying to learn how to use Ditty Talk can be somewhat of a daunting task at first. This short tutorial will teach the basics of how to get started with your own Profile: creating, editing, setting various features, etc.

Once you Login to Ditty Talk, you will be faced with your Member Dashboard. This area shows your the most important settings when visiting Ditty Talk, such as: Edit or View Profile, Photos, Friends, etc; See if there are any new Messages, Friend Requests, Comments or Bulletins; the Latest Forum and Blogs Posts; Online Friends as well as the Chat window; and finally a list of your Friends which you may Edit and Sort.
However, to stay focused, let us just take a look at the links that deal with your Profile. To view your Profile at any time, click on the link that says Edit: My Profile.
There are 2 links that deal with your Profile: My Profile and My Account. We will focus on first, the My Profile link and then secondly, the My Account link.
2. My Profile
When you click on the My Profile link, you will be taken to the main Profile editing page. A top Profile menu bar will appear. The first page you are taken to is the Profile Details page. This page includes the information that will be posted to your profile page.
You may view your Profile Page at anytime by click the View Profile tab near the top of the page:
On the Profile Details edit page, you will see the following fields:
Headline (A short description or statement)
About Me (The main center part of your Profile Page)
Like to Meet
Interests
Music
Movies
Television
Heroes
Books
All of the above fields HTML enabled (accept Headline). This means that you can place HTML fields or styles in these fields to manipulate the way your Profile looks.
Because we know that most people do no have a working knowledge of HTML or Styles, we have create a site that give you loads of already created templates for your profile as well as some other cool features you can add on.
Be sure to paste all of the style information into your About Me section.
If you would like to add videos to your Music, Movies or Television section, you can find some codes that you may copy and paste at either the Ditty Talk Video or Games section.
Listed below are some handy HTML tips to get you started: <br> - Adds a line break <p> - Adds a new paragraph <b></b> - Adds Bold to characters between the brackets <em></em> - Adds Italics to characters between the brackets <center></center> - Centers everything between the brackets <a href='URL' ></a> - Change URL to an actual URL to create a Hyperlink <img src='IMAGE' /> - Change IMAGE to an actual image URL to create an image
The other Profile pages will help you change and fix your Profile.
Privacy
Who do you want to see your Profile, and what sections do you want them to see?
Background
Change some very basic information about yourself
Churches
Add some or all of the churchs that you have attended.
Comments
You may edit the comments other users have left on your Profile.
Companies
Add some or all of the companies that you have worked for.
My Vision
God has given each of us a vision/calling for our lives, what is yours?
Schools
Add some or all of the Schools that you have been to.
Songs
You may add a Ditty Talk musician's song to your Profile by visiting the Musician's Profile and click Add Song on their music player. This page is where you edit or delete that song.
Photos
Start adding photos to your Ditty Talk Photo Gallery. This is where you may set which of your images you would like to be the main image for your Profile.
3. My Account
When you click on the Edit: My Account link, you will be taken to the main Account editing page. A top Account menu bar will appear. The first page you are taken to is the Basic Account Information Page. This page includes the some information that will be posted to your profile page (ie Gender, Age, State and Country).
You may view your Profile Page at anytime by click the View Profile tab near the top of the page:
Other Account Pages
The other pages in the Account Menu are for settings and preferences for your Profile as well as notifications.
Privacy
Who do you want to see your Profile, and what sections do you want them to see?
Comment Settings
Who do you want to comment on your Profile?
Do you want to approve every comment before it is posted?
Do you want to allow HTML for a comment (ie images)?
Do you want to set a max size for the comment images?
Edit Password
It is advisable to change your password on a regular basis to avoid account fraud.
Edit Email
You may change your Account Email/Username at anytime.
Name / URL
Display Name is the name that everyone will see.
My URL is your own unique URL that you can give to friends
Notifications
What do you want to be notified for? A notification is a simple email informing you of a change, post or announcement.
Delete Account
Only delete your account if you are absolutely sure you do not want to use it again.
